About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Level 3 IT Support Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud infrastructure, and Modern Workplace environments. This is a full-time, long-term independent contractor role.
As an L3 engineer, you will own complex issues end-to-end, helping improve systems, documentation, and service quality. You will work across multiple client environments in a MSP setting, with a strong focus on reliability, security, and customer experience.
This role requires excellent troubleshooting skills, strong written and spoken English, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a distributed team.

- Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs)
- Design, implement, and improve Microsoft Azure and Modern Workplace solutions.
- Administer and support Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Identify root causes of recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Assist with IT projects including migrations, upgrades, onboarding/offboarding, and new deployments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to L1 and L2 engineers.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve MSP tools, processes, and service delivery.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, explaining technical issues and solutions in plain language.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a senior-level IT support or systems role, preferably within an MSP.
- Proven experience working as a Level 3 engineer.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs).
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a structured, methodical approach.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple client environments.
Nice-to-Have / Preferred Experience
- NinjaRMM (monitoring, patching, automation)
- SentinelOne or similar EDR platforms
- Avanan or other cloud
- Firewall platforms (Fortinet, Sophos, Meraki, etc.)
- PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Modern Workplace, etc.) are highly desirable.
Compensation and Contractor Benefits
- Compensation of PHP 160,000 per month. This is a long-term contractor role.

As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own tax obligations and government contributions in accordance with Philippine law.
