Short-Form Video Editor (Full-Time)

The Role

We need a full-time short-form video editor to create Reels, Shorts, and TikToks. You should be fast, reliable, and care about quality. This role is for someone who can handle high volume while keeping the work sharp.

About Us

We're a media company that builds personal brands across social media, podcasts, and video. We work with partners like Notion, Gamma, and Claude. We're looking for a video editor to join our team and help us grow.

What You'll Do

• Produce about 90 shorts per month. This includes polished edits and simpler B-roll videos with on-screen text.
• Use advanced techniques like animated fonts, kinetic captions, and depth masking (text behind moving subjects).
• Select trending audio and time music changes to create emotional impact.
• Make clean, tight cuts that flow naturally.
• Add light motion graphics to improve retention.
• Use AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, AI captioning) to speed up production so you can focus on the creative work.

Tech Requirements

You need a setup that can handle the volume:

• A computer built for professional video editing. It should render high-res exports and handle large file downloads without lagging or crashing.
• Fast, wired internet for file transfers.
• Backup power (UPS or generator) and backup internet so you don't miss deadlines during outages.


Schedule and Commitment

• Full-time availability during PST business hours.
• This is an exclusive role. No other clients or outside projects.
