Required Experience & Skills
? 2+ years Florida Medicaid billing experience (non-negotiable)
? Experience with Assisted Living, LTC, or HCBS waiver programs
? Knowledge of Florida Medicaid Managed Care (LTC)
? Strong understanding of:
Authorizations
Units & service limits
EVV (if applicable)
Medicaid eligibility rules
? Experience with clearinghouses and Medicaid portals
? High attention to detail and compliance mindset
? Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities
Submit and manage Florida Medicaid claims for Assisted Living / LTC services
Work with Florida Medicaid Managed Care plans (SMMC, LTC plans, Medicaid HMOs)
Verify eligibility, authorizations, and service limits
Ensure compliance with Florida Medicaid and AHCA guidelines
Resolve denials, rejections, and underpayments
Perform AR follow-ups with Medicaid plans and clearinghouses
Maintain accurate billing logs and documentation
Collaborate with intake, care coordination, and admin teams
Prepare claims for audits and documentation reviews
