Cold Caller / Appointment Setter – US Local Businesses

About the role

We are looking for a reliable cold caller / appointment setter to call local businesses in the United States.

This is NOT a closing role.
This is NOT high-pressure sales.

Your only job is to:

make outbound calls using a script

have short, professional conversations

book appointments (screen-share presentations)

What you will do

Call local US businesses (contractors)

Follow a clear script (no improvisation)

Identify the business owner

Explain briefly why we are calling

Book appointments on our calendar

You do not:

- negotiate prices

- close deals

- handle payments

- do customer support


What we are looking for

Required:

Clear and confident spoken English

Comfortable speaking on the phone

Able to follow a script exactly

Reliable internet connection

Able to work US business hours (EST / CST)

Comfortable with rejection



How you will be evaluated

This role is performance-based, not “talk-based”.

We care about:

number of calls made

number of real conversations

number of appointments booked

ability to follow the process

Pay & schedule

$4–6/hour, depending on experience

Bonus per qualified appointment booked

Paid weekly

Remote, long-term position if performance is good
