About the Role: We are a U.S.-based home care agency seeking an experienced and dependable Weekend Care Coordinator to support scheduling, caregiver coordination, and client communication during weekend and off-hour coverage. This is a fully remote, long-term position working Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours.
This role is critical to ensuring continuity of care when the weekday team is unavailable. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and experienced in supporting a U.S.-based home care agency.
Primary Responsibilities
-Weekend Scheduling & Coverage
-Manage caregiver schedules and assignments during weekend hours
-Respond to call-outs, time-off requests, and urgent schedule changes
-Verify caregiver clock-in and clock-out times
-Prepare caregivers for new or adjusted shift assignments
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules
-Client Intake & Communication
-Answer inbound calls from prospective clients
-Schedule phone assessments when needed
-Follow up with leads via phone or
-Respond to client questions and concerns promptly and professionally
-Caregiver Support
-Serve as a primary point of contact for caregiver questions and issues
-Communicate schedule changes clearly and efficiently
-Provide solutions to common caregiver and client concerns
-Document all relevant updates in the system
-Administrative & Team Support
-Create and update client profiles, care plans, and notes
-Read, input, and modify client and caregiver records as needed
-Collaborate with weekday tea
-Support sales and intake efforts as needed during coverage hours
Work Schedule: Remote | EST Hours
-Friday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
-Saturday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
-Sunday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
-Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This role requires consistent weekend availability and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
- 2–3+ years experience in home care coordination, scheduling, or office operations
-Experience supporting a U.S.-based home care agency strongly preferred
-Strong spoken and written English communication skills
-Comfortable speaking with clients, caregivers, and prospects
-Highly organized, detail-oriented, and reliable
-Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
-Sales or intake experience is a plus
-College degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
-Stable internet connection and quiet work environment
