Virtualware Solutions is hiring Level 1 and Level 2 IT Support Technicians to strengthen our front-line support team. This role is hands-on. This role is critical. You will install, support, and maintain IT systems that businesses depend on every day.
What You Will Do
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 desk-side and remote IT support
Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and network issues
Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Support Windows, macOS, and basic Linux environments
Assist users with safe and proper system usage
Document issues and resolutions using ticketing systems
Follow security and compliance standards at all times
Technical Requirements
2 to 3 years of IT infrastructure or field support experience
Hands-on experience with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Strong knowledge of Windows OS and macOS administration
Basic knowledge of Linux systems
Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP
Basic understanding of LAN and WAN environments
Ability to provide smart-hands support under remote guidance
Experience with break-fix and desk-side support
Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Remedy
Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
