About the Role:
We are seeking a QuickBooks Certified Bookkeeper to join our growing organization. This role is critical to ensuring a clean financial transition as our current bookkeeper completes the year and formally hands off responsibilities.
We are intentionally hiring now to allow for overlap, training, and a smooth onboarding process.
Required Qualifications:
? QuickBooks Certification (Required)
-Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial record management"
Strong understanding of:
-Reconciliations
-Accounts payable & receivable
-Monthly close processes
-Financial reporting
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Preferred (Not Required, But a Plus):
-Experience in construction, restoration, insurance, or consulting industries
-Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-company bookkeeping
-Experience working alongside CPAs or accounting firms
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records in QuickBooks
-Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
-Track expenses, income, and categorization across entities
-Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
-Coordinate with accountants and leadership as needed
-Participate in a structured transition and handoff process
