We’re a wildlife media brand with a large library of owned safari and animal encounter footage.
Your job is to turn that footage into long-form YouTube videos people want to keep watching.
This role is about building and growing a YouTube channel, not just editing clips.
What You’ll Do
- Select wildlife sightings from our existing footage library
- Write clear, informative narration that adds context and insight
- Build 30+ minute compilation videos (around 6 per month)
- Create titles and thumbnails
- Upload videos and manage the channel day to day
- Track performance and improve structure, pacing, and formats over time
In short: you source the footage, shape the story, build the video, and publish it.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of YouTube and viewer retention
- Experience with long-form or compilation content
- Good editorial judgement and pacing instincts
- Comfortable working independently and owning decisions
- Clear communicator who improves based on results
- Wildlife or documentary experience is a plus, but not required.
What Success Looks Like
- Consistent, high-quality long-form uploads
- Improving retention and watch time
- Clear winning formats emerging
- A channel that grows toward profitability
Tools & Support
You’ll get:
- Full access to our footage library
- Editing, thumbnail, and voiceover tools
- Clear documentation and support when needed
- If something helps you make better videos, we’re open to it.
Compensation & Growth
- Base pay for managing the channel
- Performance-based upside once monetised
- Opportunity to grow into a lead role as the channel scales
Who This Is For
- This role suits someone who:
- Thinks like a builder, not a task-taker
- Cares about structure, pacing, and quality
- Enjoys turning raw material into something compelling
- Takes ownership seriously
How to Apply
Send:
- A short overview of your video or YouTube experience
- Examples of channels or videos you like (and why)
- Anything that shows you understand storytelling and retention
