About Us
We're launching a digital media business in the health and wellness space, specifically helping people with Type 2 diabetes manage their blood sugar through practical, actionable advice.
The business consists of:

An email newsletter (using Beehiiv)
A YouTube channel
Digital products (PDFs, courses, workshops)
Paid advertising campaigns

We're looking for a skilled, proactive VA to join us from Day 1 of this exciting venture. You won't just be doing tasks - you'll be helping build something from the ground up and growing with the business.
The Opportunity
This is a ground-floor opportunity. We're not handing you an established system - we're building it together. If you prove yourself, this role will grow into an Online Business Manager position with more responsibility and higher pay as the business scales.
Starting: Immediately
Hours: 20-25 hours/week to start, growing to 30-40 hours as we scale
Schedule: Flexible, but some overlap with Australian business hours (AEST) preferred
Pay: PHP 25,000 - 35,000/month depending on experience (negotiable for the right candidate)
Duration: Long-term (12+ months)
What You'll Be Doing
Newsletter Management (Beehiiv)

Format and schedule newsletter editions (3x per week)
Manage subscriber list and segments
Set up and maintain email automation sequences
Track open rates, click rates, and growth metrics
Respond to subscriber replies and questions

YouTube Channel

Upload and optimise videos (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails)
Schedule content calendar
Respond to comments and engage with community
Track analytics and report on performance
Research trending topics in the diabetes/health space
Create timestamps and chapters for videos

Content Support

Create graphics using Canva (thumbnails, social posts, PDF formatting)
Format written content into PDFs and lead magnets
Repurpose long-form content into social media posts
Light editing of written content (grammar, formatting)
Research competitors and content ideas

Advertising Support

Help set up Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ad campaigns
Monitor ad performance daily
Create simple ad graphics in Canva
Track cost per subscriber and key metrics
Flag issues or anomalies

Digital Products

Help set up products in Gumroad or Teachable
Manage customer enquiries
Track sales and refund requests
Assist with course content organisation

General Admin

Manage shared Google Drive / Notion workspace
Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) as we build them
Schedule and coordinate with contractors (video editors, designers)
Track expenses and basic bookkeeping in spreadsheets
Inbox management and filtering

Tools You'll Use

Beehiiv (email marketing) - training provided if needed
Canva (graphics)
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
YouTube Studio
Meta Business Manager (Facebook/Instagram ads)
Notion or ClickUp (project management)
Slack or WhatsApp (communication)
ChatGPT / Claude (AI tools for content assistance)

Who You Are
Must Have

Excellent written English (you'll be writing/editing customer-facing content)
Experience managing email newsletters OR YouTube channels
Strong Canva skills
Comfortable with spreadsheets and tracking metrics
Self-starter who takes initiative (you won't be micromanaged)
Reliable internet connection and backup power
Available to start within 1-2 weeks

Nice to Have

Experience with Beehiiv, ConvertKit, or similar email platforms
Experience running Facebook/Meta ads
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
Experience in health/wellness niche
Experience setting up digital products (Gumroad, Teachable, Kajabi)
Understanding of SEO basics

Newsletter going out 3x/week on schedule

You understand the business and audience

You're managing day-to-day operations independently
Suggesting improvements and new ideas
Helping prepare for our first digital product launch

Month 6:

Running the operational side of a business with 100,000+ subscribers
Managing a small team of contractors
Potential promotion to Online Business Manager role
