ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Social Media Operator, not a content creator.
This role is execution-focused and system-driven.
Your responsibility is to run and maintain a proven short-form social media system by:
• Editing short-form videos
• Publishing content correctly and natively on multiple platforms
• Applying real knowledge of social media virality
• Tracking and analyzing performance metrics
• Repurposing winning content
You will follow clear SOPs, checklists, and defined workflows.

DETAILED TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1) SHORT-FORM VIDEO EDITING (DAILY)
• Edit vertical videos (9:16) for:
o Instagram Reels
o TikTok
o YouTube Shorts
o
• Apply clean, minimal cuts (no over-editing)
• Remove long pauses and dead space
• Add subtitles to every video:
o High-contrast white text
o Max 2 lines per screen
o Optimized for mobile viewing
• Export platform-ready files
? No trend effects
? No unnecessary transitions
? No creative reinterpretation
2) PLATFORM-NATIVE PUBLISHING & SCHEDULING (DAILY)
You must understand that each platform works differently and must be handled correctly.
Instagram
• Publish Reels natively when required
• Write optimized captions
• Use hashtags correctly (broad + niche)
• Add geotags when applicable
• Pin engagement-driving comments
• Repurpose Reels into Stories / Highlights when applicable
TikTok
• Publish natively when required
• Write short, hook-focused captions
• Use hashtags intentionally
• Pin comments to drive engagement
• Monitor early performance signals (24–72 hours)
YouTube Shorts
• Publish Shorts natively
• Write clear, keyword-aware titles
• Track performance over time
Facebook
• Repurpose selected / winning content
• Adjust captions to
• Understand that shares matter more than likes
3) CONTENT ORGANIZATION & FILE MANAGEMENT (DAILY)
• Follow a strict folder structure
• Apply naming conventions exactly
• Move files correctly through:
Raw ? Edited ? Published ? Winners ? Repurposed
• Keep all assets organized and easy to locate
4) SOCIAL MEDIA VIRALITY & PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS (WEEKLY)
You must have real, hands-on understanding of social media virality.
You will:
• Track metrics beyond views:
o Saves
o Shares
o Comments
o Follows gained
• Identify early virality signals (24–72 hours)
• Distinguish between:
o High views / low engagement ?
o Lower views / high saves & shares ?
• Identify the top 10–15% performing content
• Maintain a Winner Log
• Explain why content performs well (hook, clarity, emotional resonance)
5) REPURPOSING & CONTENT MULTIPLICATION (ONGOING)
• Repost winning content after a strategic delay
• Repurpose winning videos into Stories
• Adapt content for:
o Other brand accounts
o Evergreen use
o Future paid ads (basic prep only)

This is a strict execution role.
TOOLS, TECH STACK & PUBLISHING EXPERIENCE (MANDATORY)
You MUST have solid, hands-on experience with the following tools:
Video & Assets
• CapCut (Desktop & Mobile) — primary editing tool
• Google Drive — file organization, folder structures, sharing
• ElevenLabs (or similar AI voice tools) — managing audio files and basic workflows

• Strong experience with at least one professional scheduling / calendar tool:
o Planable (preferred)
o Buffer
o Later
You must be comfortable with a hybrid workflow:
• Planning and organizing content inside a scheduling tool (calendar view, drafts, captions)
• Publishing natively on platforms when required (especially Instagram Reels and TikTok)
No Candidates who only know automation
No Candidates who only post manually without planning tools
Both skills are required.
ENGLISH COMMUNICATION REQUIREMENT (MANDATORY)
• English level must be C2 (Advanced / Near-Native) or equivalent
• Excellent written English (captions, comments, reports)
• Strong spoken English for:
o 1–2 weekly video meetings (CST)
o Performance discussions
o Clear communication and alignment
• Able to understand and respond to nuanced comments from a US-based audience
**Basic or intermediate English is not sufficient for this role.
WORK SCHEDULE & COMMUNICATION
• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• Remote position
• Must overlap at least 4 hours with US Central Time (CST)
• Must attend 1–2 video meetings per week during CST hours
• Reliable internet and punctuality are required
COMPENSATION
• $650/month: $600USD/month + Performance bonus $50USD/month
• Paid monthly
• Long-term position
• Raises based on consistency, reliability, and performance
TRIAL TASK
Shortlisted candidates will complete a trial task that may include:
• Editing short-form videos in CapCut
• Applying subtitle and naming rules
• Simulated publishing steps (hybrid workflow)
• Basic performance analysis
Failure to follow instructions = automatic rejection.
