Account Manager / Property Manager

About the role
As an Account Manager / Property Manager, you are responsible for managing owner relationships and overseeing the performance and day to day health of a portfolio of short term rental properties. You act as the central point of accountability, ensuring all teams are aligned and that owners feel informed, supported, and confident their property is being well managed.

This role requires exceptional spoken and written English and a high level of confidence communicating with property owners.

Key responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned property owners
- Build and maintain strong, professional owner relationships
- Provide clear, timely updates to owners on property performance and issues
- Oversee cleaning, maintenance, and guest communications teams to ensure standards are met
- Identify and resolve issues quickly before they escalate
- Manage escalations including complaints, maintenance problems, damages, and neighbour concerns
- Coordinate maintenance works and follow through to completion
- Proactively identify risks and recurring issues and put solutions in place
- Ensure properties consistently meet Lane Property standards
- Maintain accurate records, notes, and issue registers
- Support onboarding of new properties from an operational perspective

Requirements
- Exceptional spoken and written English is essential
- Strong confidence speaking with property owners on calls and video
- Highly organised with strong follow up skills
- Calm, solutions focused, and comfortable handling responsibility
- Experience in property management, short term rentals, or operations preferred

Work conditions
- 6 days per week
- 42 hours per week
- Availability aligned with Australian business hours
