About the Role
You’ll be the research engine behind our sales efforts, with approximately 75% of your time focused on identifying high-potential companies and 25% focused on sourcing relevant speaking and media opportunities for our founders. This role is focused on prospecting and research only. No pitching, outreach, or closing.
Responsibilities
Research and identify 40–60 qualified companies per week
Use signals such as:
LinkedIn job postings (growth, influencer, content, brand)
Crunchbase funding or expansion activity
Identify key decision makers (2–5 per company)
Provide brief notes explaining why each company is a fit
Maintain a clean lead tracker (Notion or Google Sheets)
Secondary:
Research relevant podcasts, speaking opportunities, and newsletters aligned with our expertise (no outreach required).
Ideal Background
Previous experience as an SDR, BDR, recruiter, or sales researcher
Comfortable with LinkedIn-based prospecting
Strong written English and attention to detail
