We are seeking a Video Editor & YouTube Content Manager who not only has technical skill, but also understands the reverence, responsibility, and purpose behind faith-based content.

Role Summary

The Video Editor & YouTube Content Manager will be responsible for editing long-form teaching and ministry videos, creating Shorts and Reels from sermons and teachings, and managing our YouTube channel to ensure excellence, consistency, and growth.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and aligned with Christian values, and who understands how to present spiritual content with clarity, dignity, and impact.

Key Responsibilities
???? Long-Form Video Editing (YouTube)

Edit full-length ministry videos (sermons, teachings, exhortations, prayer sessions)

Ensure:

Clean and respectful edits

Clear audio (voice-first priority)

Smooth pacing without removing spiritual depth

Add:

Ministry intro/outro

Scripture overlays or lower thirds when needed

Maintain visual consistency aligned with ministry branding

???? Shorts & Reels (Faith-Based Content)

Repurpose long-form teachings into:

YouTube Shorts

Instagram Reels

TikTok videos

Identify:

Spirit-led ---------- nts

Key revelations, declarations, and teaching points

Add captions and on-screen text that enhance understanding without sensationalism

???? YouTube Channel Management

Upload and schedule content on YouTube

Write:

SEO-optimized titles and descriptions (faith-aligned and respectful)

Scripture references and links

Add timestamps, playlists, and calls-to-action (subscribe, prayer, resources)

Maintain an organized, professional YouTube channel

???? Growth & Optimization

Monitor YouTube analytics (watch time, retention, engagement)

Recommend improvements for:

Hooks (without compromising the message)

Thumbnails and descriptions

Support steady, organic channel growth

Required Qualifications

Proven experience editing long-form YouTube videos

Experience creating Shorts/Reels from sermons or teaching-style content

Proficiency in:

Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent

Strong understanding of YouTube best practices

High attention to detail, especially with spoken word content

Respectful handling of Scripture, prayer, and prophetic or teaching content

Faith Alignment (Important)

Must be a Christian or deeply familiar with Christian teachings and values

Comfortable working with Scripture, prayer, prophetic language, and ministry flow

Understands the importance of accuracy, integrity, and spiritual sensitivity

Time Commitment

Part-time / contract

Approx. 10–20 hours per week (flexible depending on content volume)
