Backend Manager – Fashion E-commerce dropshipping

About the Role

We operate multiple Shopify-based fashion e-commerce stores and are looking for an experienced Backend Operations Manager to own customer support quality, SOP enforcement, and backend processes.

This is not a customer support agent role.
It is a management and operations role.

We will only consider candidates with previous experience as a backend manager for fashion stores.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and supervise the customer support team

Ensure SOPs are strictly followed across all stores

Improve and update SOPs when needed

Perform quality control on CS decisions (refunds, replacements, compensation)

Detect and fix process leaks

Monitor refund and complaint patterns

Maintain operational consistency across stores

Provide product feedback based on customer complaints

Manage CS agent performance and training

Escalate only critical issues to the founder

Send clean weekly backend reports

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)

Proven experience as a Backend / Operations Manager for fashion e-commerce stores

Experience managing customer support agents

Shopify experience is mandatory

Experience enforcing and improving SOPs

Must be available 3–6 hours per day
