YouTube lifestyle video editor

I’m a U.S.-based lifestyle content creator building a YouTube channel for women who are redesigning their lives, mindset, and income.

My content style is:
• Calm, clear, and conversational
• Talking-head videos with light b-roll
• Focused on clarity, not flashy effects

I’m looking for a reliable YouTube video editor who wants steady work, clear instructions, and the opportunity to grow with a channel long-term.

This role starts with a 90-day paid trial.

Weekly Workload

You will help edit:
• 4 long-form YouTube videos per week (8–20 minutes)
• Each long-form video will be broken into 2–3 Shorts

Videos will be simple talking-head content with light captions and basic edits.

Editing Tasks

You will:
• Cut dead space and mistakes
• Add clean, readable captions
• Create simple hooks in the first 5–10 seconds
• Add light background music
• Export videos for YouTube and Shorts
• Follow a provided style guide

Turnaround Time
• 7-day turnaround from file delivery
• Clear communication if delays occur
• Willingness to apply feedback

Pay & Trial Structure

This is paid work.

Pay Options
• $75–$100 USD per long-form video, including 2–3 Shorts
OR
• $6.00–$11.00 USD per hour

Payments are consistent and on time.

Performance Expectations (KPIs)

Performance will be reviewed during the 90-day trial based on:
• On-time delivery
• Following editing instructions
• Reduction in revision requests
• Ability to maintain consistent pacing and tone

You are not responsible for channel growth or virality — consistency and reliability matter most at this stage.

• Have basic YouTube editing experience
• Understand spoken English well
• Are organized and detail-oriented
• Can work independently with clear instructions
• Want long-term remote work
