JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a VA who’s organized, creative, and has promotional / marketing experience or acumen. If you take pride in your work and like to contribute to the betterment of this world, you’ll fit right in with our California-based team.

What you’ll do:
-Promote a podcast: write episode descriptions, prep promo kits for guests, distribute, edit and repurpose clips, and more
-Schedule and publish social posts across platforms, interact with people, research people to follow, track performance, and improve what works
-Lay out a digital magazine (clean typography, consistent design, publication-ready exports) in Canva, Photoshop, or other software
-Support magazine promotion (creating and posting assets, finding interviewees via lead generation methods, etc.)
-Do AI-assisted research with verification through AI agents
-Handle misc. tasks as needed (emails, spreadsheets, coordination, general VA work)

Must-have skills:
-Strong English language skills
-Reliable research skills, e.g., finding email addresses, finding methods to solve problems, using ChatGPT (but verifying everything)
-Social media posting and scheduling experience (you know how to format per platform)
-Organized execution: you use checklists and meet deadlines without being told, and you hold yourself to a high standard.

Helpful to have skills:
-an eye for good design
-an interest in media, events, and/or books
-layout design or graphic design experience
-keyword research skills/experience
-SEO and/or AI optimization experience
-general VA experience or executive assistant experience

Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hours per week. Must overlap with U.S. Pacific Time for at least 4 hours on weekdays. We use Hubstaff for time tracking.
