About Weekend Sleepover

Weekend Sleepover is a luxury lifestyle & wellness brand inspired by life of leisure, travel, and romanticizing everyday routines. We share the behind-the-scenes of building a brand in public—product development, travel, slow living, and aesthetic ---------- nts—across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Pinterest.

We’re looking for a creative video editor who deeply understands aesthetic storytelling and can help bring our visual world to life.

What You’ll Be Editing

Aesthetic vlogs & daily life clips

Behind-the-scenes of brand building (manufacturing, launches, travel, photoshoots)

Soft luxury lifestyle content (coffee ---------- nts, routines, travel, wellness)

Short-form content for TikTok, IG Reels, Pinterest

Occasional longer vlog-style edits (optional)

Editing Style We’re Looking For

Clean, minimal, Pinterest-worthy

Soft color grading, warm tones, film-inspired

Calm pacing but still engaging

Natural sound, light music, subtle text

Luxury / feminine / romantic energy
(Think: Slim Aarons, Nancy Meyers, Matilda Djerf, old-money coastal aesthetic)

Responsibilities

Edit short-form vertical videos (15–60 seconds)

Select music that fits aesthetic & platform trends

Light color grading and polish

Add minimal captions/text overlays when needed

Organize footage and deliver on time

Collaborate creatively (open to ideas & storytelling suggestions)

Requirements

Strong experience editing short-form social content

Deep understanding of TikTok & Instagram Reels

Experience with aesthetic / lifestyle / vlog content

Proficient in Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, or CapCut

Strong eye for pacing, tone, and visual storytelling

Reliable communication & quick turnaround

Bonus (Not Required but a Plus)

Experience working with fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands

Interest in branding, startups, or “building in public”

Understanding of Pinterest-style visuals

Ability to batch edit multiple videos at once
