Project Estimator & Project Manager (Electrical & Mechanical)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Estimator & Project Manager with strong experience in electrical and mechanical systems for commercial projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and confident in managing multiple projects from estimation through completion. Strong English communication skills and professional proposal writing are essential.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and mechanical commercial projects using Excel and Square Takeoff

Review project plans, specifications, and scope to ensure accurate quantity takeoffs

Develop clear, professional proposals for clients, including pricing, scope, and timelines

Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to gather pricing and project information

Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates, clarify scope, and resolve issues

Track project progress and maintain accurate documentation

Identify risks and recommend solutions to keep projects on schedule

Required Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electrical and mechanical estimating for commercial projects

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, data organization)

Experience using Square Takeoff or similar takeoff software

Strong English communication skills — verbal and written

Ability to write professional proposals with clear scope and pricing

Strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Problem? solving and decision-making abilities

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience managing commercial construction projects

Knowledge of industry codes and standards IN TEXAS

Experience working with subcontractors and vendors
