Video Editor – YouTube & Short-Form Content (Remote, Full-Time)

Seeking an experienced Video Editor to support an established YouTube channel by producing polished long-form content and engaging short-form clips for social media platforms.

This is a fully remote, full-time role suited to someone who enjoys working independently, has strong attention to detail, and understands the pacing and storytelling required for online video content.



What You'll Be Doing:

Editing 15–35 minute YouTube videos from raw video and audio assets
Ensuring professional-quality of:
Cuts, pacing, zooms, and visual flow

Colour grading and visual consistency

Audio synchronisation and basic cleanup

Creating short-form content (15 seconds – 3 minutes) for:
Instagram Reels
TikTok
YouTube Shorts
Exporting content in platform-appropriate formats and ratios
Maintaining a consistent visual and editorial brand style


What We're Looking For:

Strong English comprehension
Experience editing content for YouTube and social platforms
Proficiency in professional video editing tools, including: Final Cut Pro (preferred); or, Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects, DaVinci Resolve etc
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Comfortable working remotely and independently


Nice to Have/Appreciated Additional Experience:

Experience with creator-led or podcast-style content
Understanding of short-form content trends and audience engagement
Previous long-term remote collaboration experience


Compensation & Conditions:

USD $800/month starting salary, negotiable
Based on up to 40 hours per week
Flexible working hours aligned with content delivery timelines
Ongoing, long term collaboration for the right candidate
