Hi! We’re The Socials Haus, a boutique social media management agency based in Toronto, Canada.
We work with beauty salons, medspas, and lifestyle brands, and we are looking for a long-term, reliable Video Editor to join our team.

This is a stable monthly role ideal for someone who edits short-form content quickly, follows instructions well, and wants consistent work every month.

Job Title: Part-Time Video Editor (Short-Form Content)
Salary: $500 CAD per month (fixed)
Workload: Approximately 40 hours per month (not per week)
Some weeks will be busier, especially after content days, while other weeks may have less work. As long as monthly tasks are completed on time, your schedule is flexible.

Timezone: Able to meet EST deadlines

???? Monthly Workload

You will edit content for 4-5 recurring clients.
? You edit each client’s content ONCE per month (batch editing).
At the start of the month, we provide all footage, brand assets, and templates.
Per client each month:

12 Reels
10 Stories

? After editing, upload everything into our monthly content calendar template
? Place each video into the correct posting date
? Create and input caption

This is the final deliverable we send to clients.

???? Additional Projects

There may occasionally be small additional editing tasks added throughout the month (simple and within scope), such as quick story edits or minor content updates.

???? Your Responsibilities

Edit reels using our presets, fonts, and brand style
Add clean text/captions and simple transitions
Edit short story clips (very simple cuts)
Maintain consistency for each client’s aesthetic
Batch-deliver all edits once per month
Upload final videos into our content calendar template
Insert captions and posting dates
Complete revisions (max 1–2 rounds)
Occasionally complete small additional tasks
No colour correction, advanced motion graphics, filming, or client communication required.

Must speak English
CapCut Desktop or Adobe Premiere Pro
Google Drive
Comfortable adding text + basic transitions
Canva (we provide login)


???? Turnaround Times

Full monthly Calendar within 3-5 business days
Revisions: within 24–48 hours

Content calendar upload: after edits are completed

Additional tasks: reasonable turnaround depending on the task
