JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Tech/Marketing Virtual Assistant to support our marketing execution and backend operations, so Hallie (CEO & Marketing/Sales) and Nikki (Executive Assistant) can stay focused on strategy and high-level priorities.

This role is a blend of:
• Marketing support + coordination
• Content repurposing + creative production support
• Data collection + reporting (especially from Kajabi)
• Light tech tasks + platform upkeep (Kajabi, ManyChat, etc.)

Speech Time Fun, Inc is looking to add a trustworthy, committed person to the team ASAP. You do not need to be a “marketing strategist,” but you DO need to be tech-comfortable, organized, proactive, and able to follow directions with strong attention to detail.

This is a fully remote, part-time independent contractor position requiring 10 hours per week (potential to increase to 15 hours/week). Pay is $6.00/hour depending on skill/experience.
Working hours are USA EST time zone:
Monday - Friday, 12-2pm
You will have off for all national and special Philippine holidays and American holidays.
We will pay the PayPal transfer fee so that you receive all of your salary.

There will be a two-month probation period on an escalating pay scale meaning you will start at $4.00 - $5.00/hour (depending on experience), and receive an additional $0.50/hour increase in pay each month for the first two months and be able to receive full pay once you successfully complete your probationary period.

Do you continue a task until it’s done well? Does it bother you if your Instagram posts aren’t performing well? Do you love to collaborate and work well with others? Are you ok with repetitive tasks that help the CEO and Head of Marketing make data-based decisions?

If so please read through the entire job announcement before applying.

Hallie Sherman, the CEO of Speech Time Fun, is a passionate and seasoned Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). She has a podcast, membership, a virtual conference and online store for SLPs. She fell head over heels in love with speech-language pathology during her college years.

Recognizing the challenges many SLPs face, Hallie embarked on a mission to create low-prep, engaging therapy activities suitable for older students. This endeavor birthed "Speech Time Fun," a platform offering invaluable resources for SLPs. Over the years, not only has she provided SLPs with effective tools to aid their practice, but she has also grown her brand to become a guiding beacon in the SLP community, continually inspiring others to rediscover their love for speech-language pathology.

Speech Time Fun, Inc. supports Speech-Language Pathologists with engaging resources, trainings, and a thriving membership community (SLP Elevate). Our goal is to help SLPs feel confident, supported, and less overwhelmed so they can better serve students.

We’re a small but mighty team with big goals. We move quickly, we test and refine, and we’re serious about growth while keeping our members at the center of everything we do.

Our Values

Integrity: If we say we’re going to do something, we do it. We follow through on what we say and are doing, we keep to deadlines, and see things through to completion. We take 100% responsibility for your actions and aren’t into blaming others.

Creative Problem Solver: We are creative problem solvers and thinkers and aren’t afraid to take initiative when we have ideas we think will help the business. We are resourceful, willing to make suggestions, seek out new ideas while coming to the table with new ideas, and are outside-the-box thinkers.

Service to Our Customers: We realize that without our customers, we don’t have a business. We work hard to make our customers feel appreciated, heard, and supported. We like to make them feel like they can ask questions, ask for help, and no question is too silly!

Wow Factor: We love to surprise and delight our customers and fellow teammates. We are always looking for new and creative ways to grow the company and support our customers.

Fun/Team Player: Fun is the basis of the business. We help SLPs have fun at work, their students have fun at speech therapy, and I want you to have fun too while helping grow this amazing business! I want you to enjoy working, interacting with the team, and seeing the results in the amazing work you do!
