Amazon FBA Wholesale Cold Calling Specialist (Remote, Overnight)

Job Overview

We are looking for a Remote Cold Calling Specialist to help expand our Amazon FBA wholesale business. In this role, you will be responsible for calling brands and distributors during U.S. business hours (overnight shift in other time zones) to secure new wholesale accounts for our company. This is a sales-focused, customer outreach position that requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a results-driven mindset. The position is remote with flexible hours, and the initial engagement is a 3-month contract (with potential for long-term employment based on performance).

Key Responsibilities

Cold Calling & Outreach: Make outbound calls to target brands, manufacturers, and distributors to inquire about opening wholesale accounts for our Amazon FBA business

. Introduce our company professionally and explain the benefits of partnering with us.

Relationship Building: Communicate effectively and build rapport with supplier contacts to secure account approvals, negotiating terms and addressing questions or concerns. Handle timely follow-ups via phone and email to turn prospects into confirmed wholesale partners.

Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all calls, conversations, and outcomes in an Excel or Google Sheets log. Keep the database of contacted suppliers up-to-date by tracking responses, follow-up dates, and account status.

Sales Target Achievement: Work towards weekly and monthly targets (e.g. number of new accounts opened or appointments set). Use a goal-oriented approach to meet or exceed performance metrics in this sales role. Stay motivated to hit KPIs and continually improve your success rate.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our team to align outreach efforts with overall business needs. Share feedback and insights from your calls (such as product opportunities or supplier requirements) so we can refine our wholesale sourcing strategy

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or sales (at least 1+ year in a phone-based role is preferred). We care more about your skills and results than formal education – any background is fine as long as you have the experience to excel in this role.

Communication Skills: Must be fluent in English, with excellent spoken and written communication skills. You should be comfortable speaking on the phone with U.S. business contacts, using a clear and professional communication style. (Strong listening skills and a neutral accent are a plus.)

Sales Aptitude: Persuasive and results-driven mindset with the ability to handle objections and rejection calmly. You need confidence in making cold calls and engaging prospects professionally, while persistently following up to close deals. A sales-focused attitude and basic negotiation skills are essential for success in this role.

Amazon Knowledge: Experience working as an Amazon Virtual Assistant or in e-commerce (especially Amazon FBA wholesale) is a huge benefit

. Familiarity with how Amazon sellers source products and work with wholesale suppliers will help you ramp up quickly.

Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with Amazon product research tools like Keepa and SmartScout is highly desirable.

. You should also be comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to log calls and manage data (basic spreadsheet skills to input call notes, outcomes, etc.).

Organization & Independence: Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple supplier leads and follow-ups without missing a beat

. Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting – you take initiative in solving problems and managing your workload with minimal supervision.

Work Hours & Compensation

Shift: This position requires working during U.S. business hours (approximately 9 AM – 5 PM Eastern or Pacific Time). If you are located outside the U.S., this will be an overnight shift for you. We offer some flexibility in how you arrange your hours, as long as you can effectively reach contacts during their business day.

Employment Term: Remote, contract position for 3 months. We are using this period as a trial/probationary phase. There is a strong possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role after 3 months based on your performance and the company’s needs.

Compensation: Hourly rate of $4 USD per hour. Payments are issued weekly. There may be performance-based incentives or a rate increase in the future for hitting targets and securing high-value accounts (to be discussed as the project progresses).

Equipment & Setup: You will work from home (fully remote). A reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace for making calls are required. We will provide training materials, call scripts, and an Excel/Google Sheet template for logging calls. You’ll also have access to any company email or VOIP phone system needed to carry out your calls.
