About Us
reFOCUS Marketing is an inbound marketing agency that helps service-based small businesses become the hyperlocal leader in their market. We work with real estate agents, mortgage pros, and other service businesses to create a steady stream of inbound leads through consistent, value-driven marketing. Video content is at the heart of what we do so we’re looking for a video editor who can help us bring that to life.

Role Overview
We’re hiring a detail-oriented and creative Video Editor to join our virtual team. You’ll be responsible for editing short-form and long-form video content across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. Most of the content will be talking-head and lifestyle videos (Zoom recordings, iPhone videos, podcast-style, interviews), with the goal of making them engaging, branded, and optimized for each platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) with subtitles, jump cuts, transitions, emojis, etc.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos, adding B-roll, light animations, and branding elements.
- Cut down podcasts, Zoom recordings, and raw footage into engaging clips.
- Add captions
- Maintain consistent branding, fonts, and styles across videos.
- Upload final drafts to Google Drive with proper labeling.
- Follow existing templates and be able to adapt to evolving creative direction.
- Occasionally help create simple motion graphics, video hooks, or intros/outros.

Tools You Use (No Capcut)
- Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects
- Davinci
- Canva (for thumbnails or simple visuals)
- Google Drive
- Circle(Internal App) & ClickUp (for communication & task management)

Ideal Candidate
- At least 1–2 years of experience in video editing (portfolio required)
- Familiar with social media trends and short-form editing techniques
- Fast, reliable internet connection and comfortable working remotely
- Self-motivated, organized, and good with deadlines
- Bonus if you understand content marketing or the real estate industry

Working Hours & Communication
- We operate on U.S. time zones, so availability for some overlap (especially for feedback and revisions) is important.
- Communication is done through Circle and ClickUp.
- We’ll provide clear instructions, brand guides, and creative direction—your job is to bring the vision to life!
