JOB OVERVIEW

Paid Advertising Specialist (Test-Led, Signal-Driven)
(Short-term, focused, accountable)

Please read carefully before applying.

We are building a new digital community based on real-world experience, disciplined execution, and ideas that work both inside and outside the internet bubble (using Skool, Beehiiv and social media)

This is not a high-volume funnel business.

It is not a “spend your way to growth” project.

Paid advertising will be used to speed up and amplify what is already working organically — not to compensate for weak messaging, unclear positioning, or poor onboarding.

The Purpose of This Role:
- This role exists to answer specific questions, not to just “run ads”.

Examples:
- Does this message convert better when amplified?
- Which audience responds fastest to what already resonates?
- Where does paid exposure meaningfully accelerate ---------- ntum?
- Is the ROAS working for the project? (Skool community growth)

You are here to test, learn, validate and scale, not to chase vanity metrics.

What This Role Involves

You will be responsible for:
- Designing small, clearly defined paid tests
- Translating proven organic content into paid formats
- Setting up and managing campaigns with strict spend limits until proven
- Monitoring performance against agreed success criteria
- Reporting results clearly and honestly — including when something doesn’t work
- Recommending next steps: scale, iterate, or stop

This role is accountable for learning, not just delivery.

Boundaries (Important)

To be absolutely clear:
- You will not define the core strategy, positioning, or voice
- You will not “fix” weak messaging with spend
- You will not scale campaigns without explicit approval
- You will not be rewarded for spend, impressions, or hype, but will be for measurable results and ROAS

Paid ads are a tool — not the engine.

Who This Role Is For

You are likely a good fit if:

- You have real paid advertising experience, not theory
- You are comfortable working with tight budgets and constraints
- You think in hypotheses, not hacks
- You are disciplined about measurement and stopping rules
- You can explain why something worked — or didn’t — in plain English

This is ideal for someone who:
- Works with multiple clients
- Is confident in their skill
- Does not need ego or constant validation

Engagement Structure:
- Project-based or part-time
- Clearly defined test windows
- Fixed budgets agreed in advance
- No long-term retainer unless results justify it (and I hope they do)

This role may be short, sharp, and repeatable — by design.

How to Apply (Important)

Please follow these instructions carefully.

To apply, start your application with the word “SIGNAL” and include the following:
- A brief summary of your paid ads experience (platforms and scale)
- One example of a test you ran and what you learned from it
- In one paragraph, explain when you would not recommend running paid ads

Applications that do not follow these instructions exactly will not be reviewed.

Final Note

If you believe paid advertising is the solution to most growth problems, this role is not for you.

If you believe paid advertising is a precision tool that should be used carefully, deliberately, and only when deserved — you will likely enjoy working here.
