UX DESIGNER (WEBSITE UX – MEMBERSHIP / PORTAL SYSTEM)

About the Project
I am building a website (not a mobile app) that includes user logins, member access, and multiple user roles. This is my first technology build, and I am looking for a UX Designer who can help define how the website works before development begins.

This role is focused on UX structure and usability — not graphic design. We already have a graphic designer.

This is a remote, project-based role with the opportunity for long-term work after the MVP is developed.

What You Will Do

• Design the user experience for a website that includes:
– User login
– Membership or portal access
– Multiple user roles (example: admin, member, organization)

• Create UX deliverables such as:
– Site map (page structure)
– User flows (how users move through the site)
– Wireframes (page layouts and actions)

• Collaborate with a full-stack developer so designs are build-ready
• Explain decisions clearly in simple language
• Make revisions based on feedback

What I Am Looking For

• Proven experience designing UX for:
– Membership websites
– Portals or dashboards
– Systems with multiple user roles

• Strong UX thinking and documentation skills
• Comfortable working with non-technical founders
• Experience collaborating with developers
• Interested in long-term collaboration as the platform grows

Required Portfolio Examples (Very Important)

Portfolios that only show marketing websites or visual design without UX structure will not be considered.
