Python Developer

Our client is an Australian company that specialises in education, business, government and notforprofit
environments, and also provides a comprehensive range of technology services and products to ensure compliance and efficiency across your organisation. The successful candidate will be assigned to an account who are building a new SaaS web application.

THE ROLE
We are seeking for a FullStack Python Developer with strong experience building SaaS webbased
applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Write “clean”, well designed code
Produce detailed specifications
Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Follow industry best practices
Identifying and fixing bugs and providing emailbased
technical support
Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

QUALIFICATIONS
3+ Years of Python experience is required.
Experience with SaaS application platforms highly regarded
Advanced knowledge in Postgres
Knowledge of Flask framework is highly regarded
Knowledge in Stored Procedure & Functions is a plus.
Advanced knowledge in Javascript (JQuery, Ajax, etc.)
Knowledge in Css / User Interface Design
Experience in API Handling (Soap, Rest)
Excellent knowledge in Object Oriented Programming using Python
Great debugging skills
Experience with payment gateways is a plus.
Strong Quantitative and analytical background
