JOB OVERVIEW

Part-Time Social Media Marketing & Content Creator / Editor

Core Purpose:

Help architect, launch, and scale a scrappy, brilliant photography + 3D-printed product business without burning cash like it grows on Christmas trees.

Primary Responsibilities:

Content creation & video editing: Produce high-quality edits for YouTube, Shorts, Reels, and TikTok with strong pacing, payoff ---------- nts, and smart sound design.

Social media management: Schedule and publish posts 2–3x per week, optimize captions, monitor engagement, reply to comments, and keep communities warm.

Marketing development: Build messaging frameworks, campaign concepts, hooks, and copy that feel human, witty, and scroll-stopping.

Audience segmentation: Help develop content for multiple markets — Airbnb hosts, photographers, 3D printing communities, and future partners.

System setup for future creators: Create SOPs, templates, onboarding docs, and QC workflows for outsourced editors and future VAs.

Community engagement: Maintain a relatable voice in Facebook groups, Reddit communities, and niche gear circles without sounding like a brochure wrote it.

Asset packaging support (optional growth area): Assist with storytelling visuals for product bundles, case reveals, and creator kits.

Skills & Requirements:

? Strong video editing (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut)
? Comfortable with fast-paced marketing development
? Deep understanding of social platforms & analytics
? Excellent copywriting + caption crafting
? Ability to build and document repeatable processes (SOPs, norms, QC)
? Loves visual storytelling, smart humor, and clever payoff ---------- nts
? Organized like someone who packs parachutes for fun

Workload & Schedule:

Hours: 15–20 hours/week to start (true part-time but serious energy)

Posting cadence: 2–3 marketing/content posts weekly

Editing output: 1–2 polished video edits per week depending on complexity

Flexible schedule, but responsive during key publishing windows (Mon/Fri posts, weekend engagement sweeps, etc.)
