Amazon Associate Manager (Product Research & Sourcing)

We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Amazon Associate Manager to support the growth of our Amazon business through product research and sourcing. This role works closely with leadership and plays a key part in identifying, validating, and preparing product opportunities for launch.

This position is ideal for someone who already has hands-on Amazon experience and is ready to take on more ownership, accountability, and decision support while still being coachable and open to direction.

Key Responsibilities
Product Research & Validation (Core Responsibility)
Conduct in-depth product research to identify profitable Amazon opportunities
Analyze key data points including:
Sales rank, review volume, and ratings
Pricing trends and margins
Competition levels and barriers to entry
Identify niche gaps and underserved markets
Track seasonal trends and demand shifts
Review competitor listings and pricing strategies
Propose product differentiation ideas (bundles, variations, private label angles)
Prepare clear, data-backed product recommendations for leadership review
Calculate and present ROI, break-even points, and profitability using spreadsheets
Product Sourcing & Supplier Support
Research and compare suppliers via Alibaba or other sourcing platform
Evaluate supplier credibility, pricing, MOQs, and lead times
Support communication with sourcing agents when needed
Help shortlist reliable suppliers for potential product launches
Ensure product ideas are launch-ready from a research and sourcing standpoint

What We’re Looking For
Prior experience as an Amazon VA, Amazon Specialist, or Associate Manager
Strong background in both product research and sourcing

Comfortable using tools such as:
Helium 10
Jungle Scout
Keepa
Strong skills in Google Sheets / Excel
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Trainable, coachable, and receptive to feedback
Able to take ownership of tasks and follow through independently
Clear and professional communication skills
Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Work Hours & Availability
Part-time to full-time (to be discussed)
Must be available to: Attend required team and strategy meetings
Maintain 2–3 hours of daily overlap with the CEO for collaboration and updates

Rate: $9- $10/hour Depending on Experience
