This role is responsible for researching, analyzing, and translating complex legal and regulatory topics into clear, well-supported insights that inform business strategy and client education. The ideal candidate has exceptional research skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to explain sophisticated legal concepts in a structured and practical manner.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth research on U.S. legal matters, including trust law, estate-related structures, real estate law, and business legal requirements.

Research and interpret federal, state, and local regulations impacting business operations across multiple sectors.

Analyze legal frameworks, statutes, regulatory guidance, and real-world case scenarios.

Develop clear written explanations, research memos, and strategy summaries supported by credible sources.

Translate complex legal and regulatory topics into practical insights that support business and client strategy.

Serve as an internal resource to help educate the firm on legal and regulatory considerations.

Research grant opportunities, eligibility requirements, and compliance obligations for businesses.

Support strategic planning by identifying legal risks, requirements, and considerations early in the process.

Maintain accuracy, consistency, and clarity in all research and written materials.

Stay current on changes in laws, regulations, and policies relevant to the firm’s advisory services.

Requirements

Strong background in legal research, regulatory analysis, policy analysis, or a related field.

Experience researching U.S. trust law, real estate law, business law, or regulatory requirements.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear, structured, and understandable way.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Ability to cite credible sources and support conclusions with evidence.

Intellectual curiosity and comfort working with complex and evolving topics.

Experience with grant research or regulatory compliance is a plus.

Legal education or advanced research experience preferred, but licensure is not required.
