Operations & Marketing Assistant (Automotive)

Bilsmidigt is a fast-growing online used-car dealer in Sweden. We sell cars fully online, offer free home delivery, and focus on creating a smooth, transparent customer experience. We operate with strong processes, modern tools, and a remote first mindset. As we grow rapidly, we are building a detail driven operations team to support scale.

What You Will Mainly Do (Initial Scope)
-Create and update car listings including headlines, bullet points, and specifications for marketplaces and WordPress using SOPs and templates.
-Source, organize, and quality check images and videos. Ensure correct order and standards, coordinate with editors, and publish listings on time.
-Search for accurate information on the internet and across different databases related to vehicles, equipment, and specifications.

You Will Also Assist With
-Keeping Airtable records up to date including status, pricing, equipment, and internal notes.
-Coordinating with purchasing, sales, and other departments via Slack to close information gaps and follow up on missing data.
-Doing light data cleanup such as de duplication, formatting, and validations, and producing simple dashboards.

Research and Process Improvement Responsibilities
-Conducting quick web research related to parts, tyres, vehicle model features, and marketplace rules.
-Documenting SOPs, improving checklists, and suggesting automation ideas using tools like ChatGPT or Zapier to reduce manual work.

Growth Opportunities
-We are growing rapidly and invite you to grow with us. Responsibilities may expand into adjacent areas such as reporting, light customer operations, and more advanced listing optimization.
-As the company grows, future tasks may include creating and managing images and videos for social media or ads, maintaining lead sheet hygiene, drafting template emails, calendar coordination, vendor comparisons including price and lead time, and basic cost tracking.

Tools you will use:
-Airtable, ChatGPT, Excel / Google Sheets, Google Workspace (Docs/Drive), Slack, WordPress,
Canva or Photopea/Photoshop (basic).
-Experience with cerating advertisments for internet is a plus,
but not a must, we’ll train.

Must Haves
-Excellent written and verbal English with crisp and error free communication.
-High attention to detail and strong process discipline with a natural ability to spot and handle mistakes properly.
-Strong PC skills with the ability to learn new tools quickly, reliable internet with backup, and the ability to find correct and detailed information efficiently.
-Knowledge of or experience in the automotive industry including brands, trims, and options.
-Comfort working with CET overlap and collaborating asynchronously in Slack during our working hours.

Your Nice-to-Haves:
-Airtable/WordPress familiarity, light image editing.
-Basic analytics and/or Zapier/automation interest.
-Automotive Background
