JOB OVERVIEW

We are a dynamic merchant company based in the UK, seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk to support our finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with numbers and processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase and sales invoices accurately
- Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
- Manage petty cash and staff expenses
- Assist with VAT returns and financial reporting
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities

Qualifications
- Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role (>3 years)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage)
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles
- Excellent Excel skills
- Preferred: Experience using Microsoft D365 Business Central
