Video editor/ Clipper

Job Description

I’m an American content creator in Japan, looking for a reliable short-form clip editor to manage and post daily clips from my streams and videos.

This role is focused on consistency, not over-editing. You’ll be clipping engaging moments, editing them into short vertical videos, and posting them daily to a clip account.

This is a long-term position if things work out.

Responsibilities
• Create 1–2 short clips per day (15–60 seconds)
• Edit for TikTok / Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts
• Add simple captions, emojis, and clean cuts
• Identify good moments (hooks, funny moments, interesting conversations)
• Follow a clear style guide and improve with feedback
• Post consistently and on time

Requirements
• Basic to intermediate video editing skills
• Experience editing short-form content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks)
• Decent English (must understand feedback and instructions)
• Reliable internet and ability to meet daily deadlines
• Willing to learn and improve over time

Nice to Have (Not Required)
• Experience clipping livestreams or podcasts
• Understanding of hooks and retention
• Familiarity with CapCut or / Premiere Pro or / After Effects

Pay
• $200 USD per month to start
• Opportunity to increase pay based on quality, consistency, and performance
• Long-term work available for the right person

(This role is best suited for someone entry-level who wants stable, ongoing work and to grow their skills.)


Extra:

Also opportunity to grow into clipping stream vods into long form videos on YouTube, with little to no editing (mainly cutting slow moments and improving pacing)

First start out clipping short form, then can move up into more editing with increased pay.
