We’re hiring a Applied Generative AI Researcher who helps us keep up with the rapidly evolving GenAI ecosystem. You will research, understand, and evaluate new developments and convert them into structured insights for internal use and community-oriented knowledge sharing (details provided internally).
This role fits someone who enjoys technology scouting, reading technical sources, and forming good judgment about what’s practical vs hype.
Key Responsibilities
• Track new developments in Generative AI (tools, releases, research, workflows).
• Identify what’s relevant for real-world use cases, especially developer and engineering contexts.
• Create structured outputs: short briefs, summaries, comparisons, key takeaways.
• Do hands-on validation where useful (basic setup/testing, reading docs, checking maturity).
• Collaborate with us on topic selection and priorities.
Required Skills / Knowledge (Must-have)
• Strong understanding of modern GenAI concepts, including:
• LLMs & prompting
• Embeddings and vector databases
• RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation)
• Multi-agent / agentic workflows (basic architecture & typical components)
• Basic evaluation thinking (quality, reliability, cost/latency trade-offs)
• Ability to read and interpret technical sources: docs, GitHub repos, blog posts, and applied research papers.
• Programming skills required: you can write and understand code well enough to run and evaluate tools (not senior-level, but practical):
• Python required (scripts, APIs, small prototypes)
• JavaScript or TypeScript required (basic understanding + ability to run projects)
• Solid understanding of software engineering workflows (you can judge usefulness for developer contexts).
• Strong written communication in English (clear, structured, concise).
• Self-driven, curious, and reliable.
Nice to Have
• Docker and basic Linux/CLI comfort.
• Experience with popular AI tooling ecosystems (APIs, agent frameworks, evaluation tools).
• Ability to create simple technical content (short docs, slides, short screen recordings).
Work Setup
• Remote, flexible schedule.
• Part-time for 3 months (possibility for extension)
How to Apply
Please include:
1. Short intro + your GenAI background
2. Write: "ready" into your application
We are looking forward to hear from you.
