JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly reliable and detail oriented social media video clipper to work with Veridian Creative, a California based media company producing professional content for corporate brands, advertisements, and weddings.

This role is focused on short form content derived from long form video projects. You will be responsible for identifying strong ---------- nts, cutting them into high performing clips, and formatting content specifically for platforms like Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and X. This is not a creative director role, but it does require strong instincts, speed, and an understanding of what performs on social platforms.

Your responsibilities include:
• Pulling compelling ---------- nts from long form videos such as podcasts, brand films, weddings, and commercials
• Creating short form clips optimized for vertical platforms
• Tight, clean cutting with strong pacing and hook driven openings
• Adding basic captions, text, and formatting for social media
• Maintaining consistency with brand tone and creative direction
• Delivering multiple clips quickly and efficiently from each source video

Requirements:
• Prior experience clipping content for social media platforms
• Strong understanding of short form pacing, hooks, and retention
• Ability to follow clear instructions and brand guidelines
• Comfort working with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar software
• Fast turnaround times and dependable communication
• Organized workflow and attention to detail

This role is ideal for someone experienced in short form editing who understands volume, speed, and platform specific formatting. It is not suitable for complete beginners, but it does not require high level color grading or long form storytelling expertise.
