JOB OVERVIEW

Important: This is a research-focused position. Please review the full description before applying.

We work with MedSpa and wellness clinics to help them connect with the right partners and opportunities. To support this work, we’re expanding our research team and looking for a Research Assistant who enjoys digging for accurate information, verifying details, and spotting meaningful insights.

Your work will directly influence how outreach campaigns are personalized. This is not an admin or general VA role, the focus is structured research, accuracy, and insight quality.

Your Role

You’ll be responsible for building clean, reliable research profiles for MedSpa and wellness clinics. This includes identifying who actually makes decisions, how they can be contacted professionally, and what makes each clinic or leader stand out.

Key Responsibilities (Training will be provided)

• Locate MedSpa and wellness clinics using public online sources
• Analyze websites, LinkedIn profiles, social platforms, and press mentions
• Determine the primary decision-maker (owner, founder, managing partner, or medical director)
• Source and verify professional email addresses (no generic inboxes like ---------- ---------- etc.)
• Identify one recent, noteworthy detail per clinic or decision-maker, such as:
- Industry recognition or awards
- Media coverage or interviews
- Conference participation or speaking roles
- Career milestones or unique credentials
• Document all findings in Google Sheets using provided formats
• Follow research guidelines to maintain consistency and accuracy

Training & Support

You don’t need to know our process in advance. We provide:
• Step-by-step research training
• Clear SOPs and examples of high-quality work
• Feedback to help you improve speed and accuracy
• Context on how your research supports outreach campaigns

How We Measure Success
• Correct identification of decision-makers
• Clear, usable personalization insights
• Minimal data errors or missing information
• Responsiveness to feedback
• Steady improvement over time

Who This Is For

This role is a good fit if you:
• Enjoy online research and attention-to-detail work
• Are patient and methodical
• Can follow instructions closely
• Are comfortable working independently
• Want to build skills in research and outreach support

Compensation & Growth
• Starting compensation: $500+ USD/month
• Increases available based on quality, consistency, and performance

** Application Instructions (Mandatory Trial Task – Read Carefully) **

This trial task is designed to test your ability to find rapport-building personalization, not just business information.

The goal is to identify something that can be used as an opening line in an outreach email, something that clearly shows the recipient that we:
• Know who they are
• Understand their business
• Have taken time to research them
• Are not sending generic or mass emails

Trial Task
1. Find 2 MedSpa clinics in Birmingham, UK
2. For each clinic, provide the following:
- Business Name
- Owner or Primary Decision-Maker
- One personalization insight that could be used as an INTRO LINE in an email

This insight should make it obvious to the recipient that the message is personal and researched.

Important Guidelines for the Personalization Insight

Your insight must:
• Be specific, concrete, and verifiable
• Be recent (within the last 12 months)
• Clearly relate to the clinic or the decision-maker
• Be something you could naturally reference in the first sentence of an email

Your insight must NOT:
• Be generic marketing language (e.g. “award-winning clinic,” “industry leader”)
• Be copied directly from the clinic’s homepage
• Be vague or opinion-based
• Be something that could apply to dozens of clinics

Examples of Strong Intro-Line Insights
1. “I saw you were shortlisted for Best Clinic Team at the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards 2025, congratulations on the recognition.”
2. “I came across your recent Daily Mail feature on achieving natural-looking lip filler results and your focus on subtle, balanced enhancements.”
3. “I noticed you presented advanced scar treatment techniques at the IDrF Study Weekend in Morocco earlier this year.”
