Video Editor – Documentary / Investigative YouTube

I’m looking for a skilled documentary video editor to work on long-form YouTube videos inspired by the clean, minimal, investigative style of John Harris and Lemmino.
The focus is storytelling, pacing, atmosphere, and clarity.

What I need:

Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
Ability to create simple, clean motion graphics (maps, timelines, text reveals, subtle animations)
Excellent sound design (atmosphere, SFX, music balance, clean dialogue)
Understanding of documentary pacing and narrative flow
Attention to detail and consistency

Editing style:

Minimal, cinematic, serious tone
Slow to medium pacing (not flashy)
Clean typography and restrained transitions
Purposeful use of music and silence
Support the story, don’t distract from it

Nice to have:

Experience editing documentaries, video essays, or investigative content
Basic color correction / grading
Familiarity with archival footage
