About the Role
We have a service that delivers custom financial models and business plans for small businesses across multiple industries.
We’re looking for a CPA with financial modeling experience to take client-provided information and produce well-structured financial projections and business plans using our internal templates.
This is a project-based role with consistent work as demand grows.

Responsibilities
Build customized financial models for small business startups and operators using provided Excel templates
Adjust assumptions, projections, and outputs based on client inputs
Prepare or assist with business plans that align with the financials
Ensure models are accurate, well-structured, and easy for non-finance clients to understand
Make revisions based on feedback
Meet agreed turnaround timelines

Requirements
CPA license or strong professional experience in accounting and financial modeling
Advanced Excel proficiency (financial modeling, projections)
Experience working with small business or startup financials
Strong attention to detail
Clear written communication
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to Have
Experience across multiple business types (retail, services, food & beverage, etc.)
Experience preparing business plans for lenders or investors
Familiarity with U.S.-based small business financials
