JOB OVERVIEW

The Position

We're seeking a data-driven YouTube Thumbnail Designer to re-do our existing thumbnails and develop a systematic approach to thumbnail creation and performance testing.

I run an email marketing/retention agency and post videos that are often 'how-to' or other more educational-based videos.

My Youtube channel: ----------

I post one video a week, so this will be an ongoing position as well. If you're applying to this job, please provide example thumbnails for similar educational/how to/service based businesses. The examples that you provide should be relevant, not like viral mr.beast style videos.

Key Responsibilities

- Thumbnail Redesign: Audit and recreate thumbnails for our existing video library (starting with top 10 videos by search), applying modern design principles, consistency standards, and proven engagement tactics

- Ongoing Design Execution: Create new thumbnails for all published videos on a consistent, recurring basis (weekly or as agreed upon)

- A/B Testing & Iteration: Develop and execute systematic thumbnail split tests using YouTube Analytics and our testing methodology; track CTR, retention metrics, and audience engagement patterns

- Design Consistency: Maintain a cohesive visual language across all thumbnails while adapting designs to different content categories (strategy, tutorials, case studies, etc.)

- Performance Analysis: Report on thumbnail performance metrics, identify high-performing design patterns, and continuously optimize based on data

To Apply:

If you would like to apply to this position, please send a message with relevant thumbnails to the education niche. If you do not include a link to relevant thumbnails you've designs for channels in the education niche, your application will not be considered.
