Social Media Content Manager (Video Editing + SEO Copywriting

About the Brand: We are launching a bestselling travel journal focused on mental health, mindfulness, and authentic travel experiences. Our brand voice is calm, sincere, and deeply human. We are NOT a "hype" brand.

About the Role: We are looking for a "Hybrid" Content Manager who can do two things at a high level:

Video Editing: Turn raw Zoom/phone interviews into engaging vertical Reels/TikToks.

SEO Strategy: Write high-converting captions using keyword research to rank in search.

?? IMPORTANT: The Editing Style We use the "Ali Abdaal" style (clean, aesthetic, educational) over the "Alex Hormozi" style (loud, aggressive, fast).

Do NOT apply if your only style is fast cuts, air horns, and aggressive zooming.

We prioritize the dignity of our interviewees. We do not use "cringe" tactics to get clicks. We want emotional storytelling.

Responsibilities:

Edit: Take raw 10-minute interview files and cut them into 30-60 second vertical clips using CapCut or Premiere.

Write: Draft the Instagram/TikTok caption for each video, including a strong "Hook" and 3-5 researched SEO hashtags.

Optimize: Ensure the video text and captions target specific audiences (e.g., #SoloTravel, #MentalHealth).

Requirements:

Fluent Written English: You must be able to write captions that sound native and professional.

CapCut/Premiere Pro Expert: You know how to pace a video to keep retention without making it look chaotic.

SEO Knowledge: You understand that hashtags are filing cabinets, not just decorations.

Portfolio: You must share links to vertical videos (Reels/TikTok) you have edited.

The Hiring Process:

If selected, we will pay you a flat fee ($15-$25) to complete a single test video to see if your style matches our brand.

If the test goes well, we will move to a weekly hourly arrangement or monthly retainer.
