Shopify & Marketing Specialist Needed (Ongoing Role)

Shopify Expert with Outstanding Marketing Skills – Update, Optimise & Manage Store Ongoing

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly capable Shopify specialist with strong digital marketing expertise to refine, optimise, and launch an existing Shopify store—then continue managing it long term.

You will update the existing build, improve layout and user experience, and upload all products (inventory, pricing, photos, and descriptions) based on information sourced from another live website.

Once the store is live, you will provide ongoing management, including marketing, customer enquiries, and problem resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Setup & Launch

Review and improve the existing Shopify website to ensure a polished, functional, and conversion?focused layout.
Customise theme elements for improved user experience and mobile responsiveness.
Load full product catalog: inventory, pricing, photos, and descriptions taken from another website.
Optimise product pages for maximum conversions (SEO, structure, formatting).
Ensure all apps, integrations, and payment gateways are configured properly.
Prepare store for public launch and provide professional recommendations.

Ongoing Site Management

Regularly update inventory, product details, prices, and promotions.
Manage discount codes, collections, homepage banners, and merchandising.
Monitor site performance and fix any functional issues or customer?reported problems.

Marketing

Run and manage basic digital marketing activities (email marketing, product features, homepage promotions, SEO updates).
Assist with content ideas, customer engagement initiatives, and growth strategies.

Customer Support

Handle all incoming customer enquiries via email or Shopify Inbox.
Resolve issues related to orders, returns, product information, and general support.
Deliver professional, friendly, and timely communication with customers.

Requirements:
Strong experience building, editing, and managing Shopify websites.
Excellent marketing and e?commerce knowledge.
Ability to efficiently copy, adapt, and upload product data from a source site.
Experience in customer service and problem?solving.
High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.


Preferred (Not Required):
Graphic design or photo editing skills.
Experience with advanced Shopify apps (shipping, reviews, upsells, bundles).
Familiarity with email marketing tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, etc.).
