I’m a mushroom scientist (mycologist), and I’m building an educational YouTube and social media platform called Mushroo ---------- ntor. I’m looking for a reliable, creative video editor to help me grow this channel across platforms.

? What you’ll do
Edit 1 long-form to post onto YouTube video per week

Create short-form reels/clips from that video for:
Instagram
TikTok

Facebook
X (Twitter)

Add:
A simple intro & outro
Captions / on-screen text
captivating effects, transitions, and “bells & whistles.”
Prepare videos ready to post (correct formats, sizes, and aspect ratios)

???? I’ll provide:
A main cut or rough edit
Branding assets (logos)(you can help me create fun and captivating new intro, outro)
Clear instructions and examples
You don’t need to invent content — just polish, package, and make it shine.

? Time & Pay
~30-40 hours per month
$6/hour
Approximately $200-$250 per month
Perfect side gig with consistent weekly work

? Who this is for
Someone with strong, consistent editing skills
Comfortable editing both long-form and short-form video
Familiar with YouTube, Reels, TikTok-style pacing
Reliable, communicative, and detail-oriented
Interested in learning about mushrooms, science, or education (big plus!)
