About the Role:
I am the founder of two fast-growing firms: River Developments (Toronto-based real estate conversions, specifically 4+1 multiplex strategies) and PL Energy (Energy consulting for CMHC MLI Select projects). I am looking for a right-hand partner, not just an admin. I need a partner that will help me grow sales from $1.5M to $4M this calendar year.
I live in NYC but operate in Toronto; you will be my operational anchor. You will work with me on a daily basis, but you will also be autonomous in many aspects.
The Mission:
Your goal is to organize my chaotic schedule and help me triple my revenue by handling client communication and identifying new sales leads. You must be fast, meticulous, and hungry to learn.
What You Will Do:
Meticulous Client Comms: Monitor my inbox. You must acknowledge every client email within 60 minutes during business hours.
Project Management: Track energy modeling files. You will nag me to ensure I don't miss deadlines for Architects or Mortgage Brokers.
Lead Generation (The "Real" Business):
Research and build lists of Toronto architects and mortgage brokers who deal with "CMHC MLI Select" financing.
Monitor City of Toronto building permits to identify homeowners applying for laneway suites or additions (targets for River Developments).
Gatekeeping: Protect my time. If it doesn't generate revenue, you handle it.
Requirements:
Hyper-Organized: You love spreadsheets/CRMs (HubSpot, Pipedrive, or simple Excel).
Real Estate/Construction Fluency: You must know (or quickly learn) what "CMHC MLI Select" and "Multiplex Conversion" mean.
Thick Skin: I work high volume (10-20 deals/month). I need you to be proactive, not reactive.
