Full-Stack Developer (Node.js/React/Android) - URGENT 4-Week Project

ABOUT US:
We're building an accessible smartphone app for seniors and digitally excluded populations in Quebec. Think: simplified Android launcher + caregiver web platform for remote configuration. Patent filed, investor demo on January 20.

THE SITUATION:
Our founder (64, building manager, limited coding time) has the backend API and Android integration 90% complete but hit infrastructure issues. We need an experienced developer to:
1. Fix testing environment (emulator/ADB issues)
2. Complete end-to-end integration
3. Polish for investor demo in 26 days

TECH STACK:
- Backend: Node.js/Express + SQLite
- Frontend: React
- Mobile: Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose)
- Tools: VS Code, Android Studio
- We use Claude AI extensively for development

WHAT YOU'LL DO (Week by Week):

Week 1: Fix Android emulator/USB debugging, test config flow
Week 2: Implement 3 core features (emergency call, voice, contacts)
Week 3: Add one "wow" feature (BLE tracking OR AI recommendations)
Week 4: Demo prep, bug fixes, polish

REQUIREMENTS (Non-Negotiable):
? 5+ years full-stack JavaScript
? Node.js + Express experience
? React experience
? Can navigate Android Studio (debug builds, fix emulator issues)
? Has debugged infrastructure hell (ADB, emulator, USB) before
? Excellent written English
? Available 40 hours/week starting immediately
? Can work independently with daily check-ins
? Comfortable with AI coding tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot)

NICE TO HAVE:
- Firebase experience
- Healthcare tech experience
- Experience with senior/accessibility apps
- Based in Philippines (founder's wife is Filipina)

TIMELINE & COMMITMENT:
- Start: December 27-28, 2025
- Intensive period: 4 weeks (40 hrs/week)
- After demo: Ongoing maintenance (15-20 hrs/week)
- Total commitment: 3 months minimum

RATE:
$11-13 USD/hour ($15-17 CAD) depending on experience
- Paid weekly via PayPal/Wise
- First week paid upfront upon start

WORKING STYLE:
- Daily 30-min standup (video call)
- Work during your daytime (we're async - 13hr time difference)
- Founder reviews progress daily
- High trust, low micromanagement
- Results matter, not hours logged
