ABOUT THE BRAND
This brand is built around me as the founder, my voice, experience, and credibility in the small business space.
We are early-stage but intentional:
- LinkedIn: ~150 connections, under 1,000 impressions with consistent posting
- Instagram & YouTube: brand new accounts
This role is about building from the ground up, not maintaining something that already exists. The focus is on turning low visibility into authority, trust, and community.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a full-time Social Media & Content Strategist to own the entire content and growth ecosystem across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and Skool.
This is not a Canva or CapCut template role.
This is a strategy-first, original-thinking, execution-heavy role focused on growth, engagement, and credibility.
You will be responsible for what we say, how we say it, and how it performs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy & Planning
- Develop a clear content strategy for LinkedIn (primary), Instagram, and YouTube aligned with small business owners
- Identify content pillars that build authority, trust, and community
- Plan short-form and long-form content that compounds over time
Content Creation (Original Only)
- Create original, high-quality content (text, short video, long-form video concepts)
- No generic templates or recycled trends
- Use Canva and CapCut only as tools, not as the strategy
- Adapt content to each platform’s native behavior and audience psychology
Growth & Engagement
- Actively manage engagement: comments, DMs, replies, and conversation starters
- Build real community, not passive followers
- Turn content into discussions and relationships
- Increase impressions, connections, followers, and inbound opportunities
Personal Brand & Credibility
- Position the founder as a trusted voice in the small business space
- Shape messaging that reflects experience, clarity, and value
- Maintain a consistent brand voice while improving clarity and confidence
Skool Community Building
- Help build and grow a Skool community
- Drive members from social platforms into the community
- Support content ideas, discussions, and engagement inside Skool
Performance & Iteration
- Track performance across platforms
- Test, analyze, and iterate based on real results
- Optimize for reach, saves, comments, watch time, and conversations
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required Experience
- Proven experience growing personal brands or small business brands on LinkedIn, Instagram, and/or YouTube
- Case studies or examples showing real results (growth, engagement, leads, or community)
- Strong understanding of content psychology, not just algorithms
- US EST day time avalibility (9am-6pm flexible)
Skills & Traits
- Strategic thinker who can also execute daily
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
- Comfortable creating without heavy direction
- High standards for quality, clarity, and results
- Deep understanding of small business pain points
