Amazon Product Research & Sourcing VA FBA - OA

Job Description

I run a UK-based Amazon e-commerce business and am looking for a high-quality Virtual Assistant to help with product research and sourcing.

This role will start with a paid trial and has the potential to become a long-term position for the right person.

The goal is simple:
Find profitable, realistic product opportunities that can actually be sourced and sold.

This is not a guessing role and not a beginner position.

Responsibilities

During the trial and ongoing role, you will be responsible for:

Product research on Amazon (UK marketplace)
Identifying products with:
Healthy demand
Realistic competition
Viable margins after fees and VAT

Finding potential sourcing options:
Online retailers
Wholesalers
Distributors

Checking basic eligibility and restrictions (gating, hazmat, etc.)

Presenting findings in a clear, structured format (Google Sheets)

Following specific sourcing criteria and instructions

Communicating findings clearly and honestly (no “forced” deals)

Required Skills & Experience

You must have:

Prior experience with Amazon product research or sourcing

Understanding of:

Amazon fees
ROI and profit calculations
Sales rank / demand indicators
Strong research skills (not guessing, not copying random products)
Good written English
Attention to detail
Ability to work independently and think logically

Experience with tools such as SellerAmp, Keepa, or similar is a plus, but not required if you understand the fundamentals.

? Not a data-entry job
? Not a “find random deals” task
? Not a beginner training role
? Not a dropshipping role

If you do not understand how Amazon sourcing works, this role is not suitable.

Trial Details

The role will begin with a paid trial

The trial will be:

Time-limited
Clearly defined
Paid at an agreed rate
Performance during the trial will determine whether we continue long-term
If you are as capable as your experience suggests, the value you generate should easily justify the role.
