Video Editor for Sports Education YouTube Channel

Hi! I'm Gwenaël, and I run a LATAM sports education YouTube channel focused on helping viewers understand sports strategy, tactics, and history.

I'm looking for 2-3 talented video editors to complete a $30 trial video (3-4 minutes). The top 2 performers will be hired long-term at $50/video for weekly work.

What You'll Do:
Edit talking-head + B-roll educational videos (10-15 minutes when hired long-term)
Sync pre-recorded Spanish voiceover with visuals
Add text overlays, transitions, stock footage, graphics
Export final video in 1080p MP4 (YouTube-ready)
What I Provide (Trial + Long-term):
Full script (translated to English for you)
Pre-recorded voiceover (Spanish MP3)
Logos, templates, SOPs, reference videos

Payment Structure:
Phase Deliverable Pay Deadline
TRIAL 1 video (3-4 min) $30 3 days after receiving assets
Long-term (Top 2 selected) 1 video/week (10-15 min) $50/video
Every Friday 8 PM (your timezone)
Long-term potential:

$50/video × 4 videos/month = $200/month (stable, weekly work)
Possibility of 2 videos/week later = $400/month
Paid every week via Wise

Quality (clean edits, good pacing, engaging visuals)
Deadline (video delivered by Friday 8 PM your timezone)

Work Monday-Friday? Weekend? All at once? In small chunks? Your choice.
As long as the video is delivered on time and meets quality standards, you have 100% freedom.

Requirements:
Must Have:
English fluent (you'll read scripts in English; final video is in Spanish audio)
Experience editing talking-head + B-roll education/explainer videos (YouTube, Udemy, etc.)
Portfolio with at least 2-3 samples
Reliable internet and editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
Can meet deadlines (Trial: 3 days | Long-term: Every Friday 8 PM)
Access to stock footage (free: Pixabay, Pexels | paid: Envato, Storyblocks — tell me what you use)
Honest communication (if you're late or have issues, just tell me — I'm flexible if you're upfront)
Nice to Have:

Experience with sports content (football, basketball, etc.)
Knowledge of YouTube best practices (hooks, retention, pacing)
Experience adding background music and sound effects

Do NOT Apply If:
You cannot deliver the trial in 3 days
You cannot commit to weekly Friday deadlines (long-term)
You don't have a portfolio (applications without samples will be ignored)
You're not comfortable with autonomous work (I provide SOPs and feedback, but you manage your own time)
You can't communicate honestly about delays or issues
