JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for someone with a video production background and on-camera performance ability who can help us bring psychologically believable characters to life using avatar-assisted AI workflows.

This is not a prompt-writing role.
This is not ---------- content.
This is not social media management.
This is not general video editing.

If you are contacting us without reading this brief in full, or without submitting the exact type of work requested below, please do not apply.

We’re interested in people who understand behavior, restraint, and inhabitation—and who can translate that into clean, controlled video performances that may later be mapped onto AI characters. If you are not acting on camera yourself, this is not the right role.

What We Care About (Read Carefully)

We are not looking for “characters that represent ideas.”

We are looking for characters that feel like real people with real beliefs, operating sincerely inside flawed, contradictory, or absurd systems.

The character should feel psychologically inhabited, not performed.

Meaning should emerge from behavior, not explanation.

If the viewer doesn’t believe the character as a coherent person, the work doesn’t function—regardless of how clever the concept is.

Our primary criterion is simple: does the character feel real?

If it feels like the performer is staging an idea, guiding the audience, or “playing the joke,” it is not a fit.

About the Work

We develop AI-driven video content depicting sincere people inside systems that may feel uncomfortable, bureaucratic, absurd, or slightly “off.”

Characters are not aware they’re being funny.

The camera is i ---------- .

Scenes may sit longer than expected.

We allow silence, dead air, and unresolved ---------- nts.

We do not explain what the audience is meant to think.

If something feels slightly wrong, that is usually intentional.

This work sits closer to acting, observation, and restraint than content creation.

Performance & Judgment Expectations

We care about behavior, not cleverness.

Characters treat their beliefs as ordinary and unexamined.

Dialogue assumes agreement rather than seeking it.

Scenes do not need to resolve or “land.”

Discomfort is allowed.

If your instinct is to clarify, heighten, underline meaning, or make sure the audience “gets it,” this is probably not the right role.

Who This Is (and Is Not) For

This is a good fit only if you personally have experience performing on camera and can demonstrate restrained, believable delivery. Editors, social media managers, and general video producers who do not perform on camera themselves should not apply.

If your background is primarily TikTok skits, ---------- content, reaction videos, prompt-only AI generation, exaggerated comedy, or content that relies on irony, commentary, or winks to the audience, this role is not a fit.

What to Submit (First-Round Screening)

Do not contact us with a résumé, a reel, or a general portfolio link.

Do not contact us without submitting a concrete example.

To be considered, you must submit one existing piece or one newly recorded clip that clearly shows you acting out a character on camera.

The submission must feature one character in one situation, with no explanation, no framing text, and no commentary. Let the scene exist on its own.

This may be something already in your portfolio, or a short clip recorded specifically for this application using your phone or webcam. The performance should be neutral, restrained, and believable. We are evaluating judgment and inhabitation, not polish or production value.

If you submit work where you are not performing on camera, or where the clip is explained, contextualized, or editorialized, it will not be reviewed.

If the character feels real, the work will speak for itself.

Next Steps

If your submission shows strong alignment and psychological credibility, we may invite you to complete a short paid test to evaluate fit more deeply.

We do not provide feedback unless there is genuine potential for collaboration.

Compensation

Monthly compensation typically ranges from $900–$1,800 USD depending on demonstrated skill, judgment, and alignment.

This role is designed to grow. There is no fixed ceiling for contributors who evolve into higher-responsibility, agency-level work as the project scales. Compensation grows with trust, consistency, ownership, and impact.

One Last Note

We are not looking for perfection.

We are looking for people who default to inhabitation over presentation.

If your work feels like it is making a point, it is probably not the work we are doing.
