I’m building a mid-term rental (MTR) portfolio in Southern California and am looking for an experienced outbound sales VA to help generate and close B2B housing bookings.
This is a SALES role. It is not a property management role and not a marketing role.
You will be selling furnished, flexible-term housing to organizations and individuals that regularly need temporary housing, including:
Traveling professionals (such as healthcare staff)
Corporate or workforce relocation
Insurance-related housing placements
Individuals or families needing housing for 1–6 months
Your role is to start conversations, follow up consistently, sell the value of our rentals, negotiate pricing within guidelines, and help close bookings.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Confident outbound calls and
Consistent follow-up with warm and cold leads
Clear qualification of timing, length of stay, and budget
Professional sales conversations that lead to booked stays
Clean tracking of outreach, notes, and next steps
RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and maintain a targeted contact list
Make outbound calls and send
Respond to inbound housing inquiries
Follow up using a structured cadence
Qualify leads based on timing, length of stay, and budget
Sell the value of furnished mid-term rentals
Negotiate pricing within approved ranges
Close bookings or escalate higher-value deals to the owner
Track activity and pipeline in Google Sheets or a CRM
Improve scripts, objection handling, and workflows over time
COLLABORATION & TRAINING
Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins to review activity and pipeline
Training materials and videos will be provided on mid-term rentals and selling to housing coordinators
You must already be comfortable with sales conversations and follow-up and able to work independently
IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION
This role is NOT:
Social media, SEO, ads, or marketing execution
Property management or guest coordination
Maintenance, repairs, or contractor management
Success is measured by conversations, follow-ups, and bookings — not clicks or impressions.
HOURS & PAY
10–20 hours per week to start, with opportunity to grow
$4–7 per hour, depending on experience
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Has outbound sales or cold calling experience
Comfortable making calls and negotiating pricing
Experience with real estate, housing, or B2B services is a plus
Organized and reliable with follow-up
Clear spoken and written English
