We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) & Process Automation Specialist with a strong QA mindset and hands-on experience (or strong interest) in low-code automation tools.
This role is QA-first, with automation as a key supporting function. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our products, features, integrations, and internal tools function flawlessly before release. In addition, you will maintain and optimize automation workflows using n8n to support QA processes and business operations.
You are not required to be a software developer, but you must be logically strong, comfortable working with data flows, APIs, and automation logic.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance (Primary Focus)
- Quality Ownership: Act as the final quality gate for product features, integrations, and internal tools prior to deployment.
- Test Planning & Execution: Design, document, and execute comprehensive test cases covering happy paths, edge cases, and failure scenarios.
- Bug Reproduction & Reporting: Convert unclear or high-level issue reports into precise, actionable bug tickets for developers.
- Regression Testing: Validate that new updates do not negatively impact existing workflows or functionality.
- Risk Identification: Proactively identify logical gaps, edge cases, and potential failure points during the requirements and testing phases.
2. Automation & n8n Management (Secondary Focus)
- Low-Code Workflow Maintenance: Maintain, configure, and improve existing automation workflows using n8n.
- QA Automation Support: Leverage automation to streamline QA activities, such as test data generation, workflow monitoring, and failure alerts.
- Logic-Based Workflow Design: Build simple to moderately complex workflows focused on connecting systems logically rather than writing code.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Monitor live automations, diagnose failures (e.g., API or webhook issues), and resolve them or escalate to developers when necessary.
3. Collaboration & Communication
- Cross-Team Bridge: Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to translate business requirements into QA coverage and automation logic.
- Risk Communication: Clearly explain technical issues, failures, and risks to non-technical stakeholders without unnecessary jargon.
- Documentation Ownership: Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for test plans, workflows, and QA processes.
- Feedback Loop: Identify and raise requirement gaps early in the design phase to prevent downstream issues.
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
- Proven experience in Quality Assurance, with manual testing experience required (automation experience is a plus).
- Strong ability to write structured test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
- Understanding of APIs and webhooks, including how data flows between systems (e.g., POST requests).
- Experience with n8n is highly preferred, or strong experience with Zapier or Make with willingness to upskill.
- Strong logical troubleshooting skills for workflows and integrations.
- High attention to detail with the ability to validate data and outputs across multiple systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage testing tasks with minimal supervision.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience with low-code automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, Airtable, or similar tools.
- Basic technical skills such as using Postman, reading simple JSON, or validating API responses.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) for test case generation, documentation, or troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with project management and bug-tracking tools (Jira, ClickUp, Linear, Asana, Mondays).
- Exposure to SaaS, E-commerce, or CRM workflows, with an understanding of how data moves across business systems.
What We Offer:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Access to automation and AI tools
- Opportunity to work on real-world, high-impact business workflows
- Clear ownership of automation systems
- Long-term growth opportunities in automation and operations
- Supportive team with structured requirements and clear expectations
Working days and hours:
- Full-time basis: 40 hrs/week (Mon-Fri)
- Working hours: 10 am to 6:30 pm (30 min. lunch break)
- 14 days of Paid Annual Leave and Paid Public Holidays Benefits (all major holidays in the Philippines) included
