Video Editor for Social Media, Kiosk, and Large Screen Shorts

I am looking for a skilled video editor who can take imperfect existing footage and turn it into high performing short form content for social media, kiosks, and large screen advertising.

This is not a beginner role. You will be working with footage that was not shot correctly and fixing it so it looks native, polished, and engaging across multiple display formats.

What you will be doing

You will take landscape footage and convert it into portrait or custom aspect ratios depending on placement
You will fix exposure, lighting, color, framing, and overall visual quality
You will use AI tools where appropriate to improve footage quality and composition
You will create short form videos designed for attention and engagement, including fast pacing, clean cuts, and strong audio or visual flow
You will produce video shorts for social media, kiosk attention grabbing screens, and large screen advertising at live venues
You will edit with placement context in mind, not just aesthetics

Required skills

Strong experience with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent
Hands on experience using modern AI video tools for reframing, upscaling, cleanup, and enhancement
Clear understanding of different display environments, including mobile, kiosk, and large format screens
Ability to create short videos that capture attention within the first few seconds, even without sound
Strong sense of timing, rhythm, and visual hierarchy

Autonomy and problem solving

You are expected to know the proper tools, including AI tools, to solve common footage problems
You should not need direction on how to fix issues like framing, lighting, exposure, or aspect ratio
You should be able to assess footage, choose the right approach, and execute independently

Nice to have

Experience editing paid social media ads
Experience creating content for kiosks, digital signage, or live venue screens
Understanding of how different screen sizes and environments affect editing decisions
